One hundred years ago the Great War, World War I, was raging in Europe.  Despite a late entry by the United States into the war, approximately 120,000 men and women from Wisconsin served in the military.  Many others worked in civilian capacities either abroad or here at home to support the war effort.

Russ Horton, archivist at the Wisconsin Veterans Museum, will take you on a tour of Great War history and records such as draft registrations, service records and unit histories.  Research and commemorate your ancestor’s service while gaining a broader understanding of their experience.

Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 2:00-3:30 pm in Lower Level Meeting Room C.
Free, open to the public.  No registration required.
