30-day Kindness and Wellness Challenge
We challenge you to be creative with 30 kindness and wellness activities. Check out the 30-day Kindness and Wellness Challenge PDF below to see all the activities.
Challenge Details:
• Challenge runs Thursday, April 23 - Sunday, May 31.
• Participants must be between the ages of 11 and 18 and live in the Fox Cities.
• One entry per participant.
How to Enter:
• Complete a minimum of 15 (or more) activities listed on the calendar.
• Email us your name, age, and a picture or a short video clip of you doing an activity to teen@apl.org.
• Your photo/video may be featured on our social media sites.
Selection:
Our Teen Services team will review the completed entries and randomly pick two winners at the end of the challenge.
Prizes:
Each winner will receive a $25 gift certificate via email from Grubhub - for ordering your favorite food for delivery. The winners will be announced through Facebook and notified via email.
Virtual Teen Poetry Contest
Celebrate National Poetry Month with our Teen Poetry Contest! No need to go anywhere, join from the comfort of your home. Want to enter? Check out the details below.
Contest Details
• Contest runs from Wednesday, April 15 - Wednesday, May 13. The deadline for submissions is May 13 at 5 pm.
• Participants must be between the ages of 13 and 18 and live in the Fox Cities.
• One entry per participant.
How to Enter:
• Write a poem - any style.
• Create a video reciting your poem.
• Email your name, age, poem and video clip to teen@apl.org.
• Your video may be featured on our social media sites.
Selection:
Poems will be judged based on creativity, originality and content - let your voice shine through! Our Teen Services team will collect and review all entries submitted.
Prize:
The grand prize is a $50 e-gift card from Amazon. The winner will be announced through Facebook and email.
