Learn About Polish Genealogy

Steve Szabados, author of ten genealogy books, genealogy columnist for the Polish American Journal and lecturer on Polish genealogy will appear at the Appleton Public Library on Saturday, January 9 at 2:00 pm in Lower Level Meeting Room C. Learn ways to research your Polish family tree, how Polish history and border changes affected your ancestors and where to find records. The program is free and open to the public; no registration is required. 

The Find Your Ancestors series of genealogy programs, funded by the Friends of Appleton Public Library, take place in Lower Level Meeting Room C, from 2:00-3:30 pm on the second Saturday of each month from November to April.  February 13 will feature Russell Horton, Reference & Outreach Archivist at the Wisconsin Veterans Museum, with a class called Find Your Military Ancestors.
