Have you heard? Our library system is getting a new catalog! Here are some important dates to remember as they transition to the new catalog:
Friday, August 14 - InfoSoup (the online catalog) will be unavailable starting at 7:00 pm. Online bill payments will be unavailable until Tuesday, September 1.
Saturday, August 15 and Sunday, August 16 - Data will be migrated to the new system and InfoSoup will remain offline. Our building and phone services will be closed during this time so our staff can assist with the transition.
Monday, August 17 - InfoSoup relaunches with a new look and new features.
As our library system transitions to the new catalog, here are a few key points:
- Your holds and current checkouts will not be affected.
- Your PIN will be reset. A new, temporary default PIN will be your birth date (MMDDYY) as listed in InfoSoup. Once the new catalog is live, the website will provide instructions on changing your PIN. After you change your PIN, you may have to relogin to any online services you may be using (Hoopla, OverDrive, etc.)
- Reading history and lists will not be saved. The good news is that you can still export your reading history and saved lists. Check out the Exporting Your Reading History and Saved Lists page for more information on how to do this.
