The 2021 Executive Budget for the City of Appleton was approved last month. The budget includes $2.4 million for architectural design work toward a renovated or reconstructed library facility on the current site (see page 630). Over the next few weeks, City of Appleton staff will be working on a Request for Proposals (RFP) for architectural and engineering services.

Mayor Woodford, Library Director Colleen Rortvedt, Parks, Rec and Facilities Director Dean Gazza, Library Board of Trustees President Rebecca Kellner, and Library Building and Equipment Committee Chair Nancy Scheuerman would like to hear from you. They are holding a listening session to hear your priorities for the building project Wednesday, December 9 from 10:30 am to 12 pm. With COVID-19 safety precautions in mind, the listening session will be held virtually via Zoom.

Registration is required. Please fill out our online form here or call (920) 427-9146 to register. Everyone who registers will receive an email confirmation Tuesday, December 8 with a Zoom link to attend the session.
