The Appleton Public Library joins the City of Appleton in condemning all acts of bigotry, xenophobia and violence against the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities across our community and country.
Racism and hate have no place in our library and community. The Appleton Public Library is committed to providing a welcoming place for all. A safe place and space where everyone belongs. We support and stand in solidarity with our Asian American and Pacific Islander staff and community members.
We must acknowledge the racism and discrimination that continues to affect our communities of color. We all need to play a part in speaking out against these acts so everyone in our community is treated with dignity and respect.
